Raymond Kayser Memorial Bonspiel

February 12-16, 2020. 

The Raymond A. Kayser Memorial Bonspiel is the GNCC's annual mixed 5-and-under bonspiel. For the first time, the Kayser is coming to The South and is hosted at Triangle Curling Club in Durham, NC. Thank You Durham Sports Commision.

Format and Eligibility Requirements

  • Mixed
    • 2 male and 2 female players per team
    • Throwing order must alternate: MFMF or FMFM.
    • Alternates and substitutes must satisfy the same restrictions.
  • Five and Under
    • Each player must have no more than 5 years of curling experience.
    • Any year is counted where 10 or more games are played between May 1 and April 30.
    • Youth curling (13 and below) does not count toward this limit, but junior curling (14-21) does.
    • Alternates and substitutes must satisfy the same restrictions.
  • GNCC Membership
    • All players (including alternates and substitutes) must be members in good standing of the GNCC.

  • Adults, 21 and up only by the start of the bonspiel
