Triangle Club Bonspiel

NEW THIS YEAR: Individual registration. The Club Spiel committee will form teams based on skill and years of experience. If you need to coordinate schedules with someone in your household, you may register as a pair.

The Club Spiel has grown into an event that helps foster camaraderie and community across all skill levels. As our club continues to grow, opportunities to meet new faces become even more valuable, and this event aims to bring us all together.

This year, we go one step further in achieving our goal. Everyone who wishes to compete will register individually. What? No building our own team? That's right. Each of you will sign up as singles, and the Club Spiel committee will create your team based on skill, years of experience, and other factors.

We get that coordinating separate schedules under one roof is a headache, so if that applies to you, you can register with a partner. Everyone else, we're counting on you to embrace the spirit of the thing and sign up solo.

This gives you the best opportunity to curl with newer members and others you might not normally have the chance to curl with, and to develop new relationships within the club. What brings you closer than curling and broom stacking for 2 or 3 days, right?

Our theme this year is "Battle of the Bands" (Club Spiel style, of course), so think of some cool bands you would like to represent and creative ways to represent them.

Format and Entry Requirements

• • Theme: Battle of the Bands
  • Open to all, and only, regular Triangle Curling members with at least 1 session of ice privileges (including reciprocal members and juniors).
  • 128 individual registration (32 teams), 3-game guarantee.
  • There will be first draws Thursday evening (6:15p and 8:30p) and Friday afternoon (1:30p and 3:45p); individuals will indicate their availability for those when they register.
  • $70 per person.
  • Registration opens 1/27 at noon and closes at midnight on 2/12.
