To defray the costs associated with purchasing new curling stones, Triangle Curling Club is running the Rock Sponsorship Program. The program is a donation incentive that allows a donor to customize the text engraved on a chosen curling stone handle.
Tax Deductible
The Triangle Curling Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and donations are tax-deductible. Upon payment, you will receive a donation receipt for your records.
Sponsorship Options

Once the sponsorship period ends, the handle becomes available for a new engraving. However, it will remain in use until a new sponsor is available. When an engraved handle is removed from service, Triangle Curling will make a best-effort attempt to return the handle to the original sponsor. Any shipping or handling costs will be the responsibility of the recipient.

- Triangle Curling reserves the right to approve all engraving messages
Pre-Summer 2019 Sponsorships
Any existing sponsorships will be transferred to this new program and those obligations will be fulfilled at no additional cost to the sponsor. Sponsors whose stones will be transferred to the new handles will receive the right to extend their sponsorship for $75 per year.
Procedures
Engraving orders will be placed at least once per year, shortly after the fall curling season begins. The sponsorship period begins on the first day that the handle is in use on a day that the club is open for curling. Payment to extend the sponsorship of a stone (at $75 per year) must be received at least 90 days prior to the rock’s sponsorship period ending.
In the event that a sponsored handle must be replaced (e.g. due to breakage), a new handle will be engraved with the same text as before. If the new engraved handle comes into service within 30 days of the old handle being removed from service, there is no change to the sponsorship period. If that period is greater than 30 days, the out-of-service time, rounded to the nearest month, will be credited to the sponsorship.

- Option to sponsor a rock for the lifetime of the stone
- Sponsor will receive the handle when the sponsorship period ends
