2023 Junior Bonspiel and one of five qualifying events for the 2023 USA Curling Junior (U21) National Championship

Friday, January 20, through Sunday, January 22

Triangle Curling is hosting our 5th annual Triangle Junior Bonspiel from Friday, January 20, through Sunday, January 22.

We are particularly excited about this year’s event, because this is the first year this bonspiel is also a qualifying event for USA Curling Junior (U21) National Championship!

This will be the largest junior event we've ever hosted as a club, and we have teams coming from across the country to compete. Who knows—some of these curlers may be future Olympians! Don’t miss out!

Spectators are welcome!  Members who want to volunteer should check out the link sent to the membership email list last week.

On October 21st, delegates of Triangle Curling attended USA Curling’s 2022 Members’ Assembly meeting as an at-large club. During this meeting, three motions were brought to the floor as roll call votes.

This board statement has been published to address questions regarding Triangle Curling's vote on the motion to remove GNCC from USCA and other motions at that meeting.

The Triangle Curling Board of Directors has been closely monitoring the situation regarding the release of the Yates Report and its relevance to the role of USA Curling's CEO Jeff Plush. Due to the continued lack of action by USA Curling to adequately address their membership’s concerns, we felt that we needed to address the gravity of the situation and concerns raised by members of our club regarding how this may impact their safety.

We want to reassure our membership that we take their concerns seriously and are taking steps to provide a safe curling environment in our club.

Our full response can be found in this Triangle Curling Club Board statement.
