LEARN TO CURL on Thursday, September 17th

The Triangle Curling Club will be hosting a Learn to Curl session on Thursday, September 17th, 2009, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM at the Polar Ice House at the Factory in Wake Forest.

The club will be providing interested individuals with both on and off ice instruction, including an opportunity to throw a stone. The session will consist approximately 30 minutes of off-ice instruction followed by 90 minutes on the ice with instructors. The cost of the session is $10/person, payable at the event.

2009 Fall League Registration

(Originally posted on Monday, 2009 August 10 - 5:27 pm) Registration is open for the Triangle Curling Club's 2009 Fall League! The Fall League starts Friday, September 11th, and will conclude on Friday, December 11th. We will curl on Friday nights from 9:00 to 11:00 PM at the Polar Ice House in Wake Forest. To participate in the league, download the registration form and follow the form's instructions. We are capping the league at 12 teams (48 curlers), and registration closes on Sunday, August 30th, so don't delay!

TCC recognized as nonprofit organization

(Originally posted on Monday, 2009 April 6 - 8:20 am) Its official: the Triangle Curling Club is now a recognized nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status, allowing the Club to receive tax-deductible donations. This means members who make donations or in-kind contributions to the Club can report these contributions as tax deductible charitable donations on their individual tax returns.
