Our Fall Leagues begin tonight, so we're going to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the most unheralded of curling positions: the Lead. (All while not putting too much pressure on our new curlers who are playing Lead this season, of course.)
"Well...I don't know. Curling sounds like fun, and I'd like to give it a try, but I don't really know what a Learn to Curl is all about. What goes on at a Learn to Curl, exactly?"
Since you asked...it goes something like this:
Registration for the Triangle Curling Club Fall Leagues is open! Click here for more information, or to sign up.
We also have two Learn to Curl sessions coming up the weekend after Labor Day. For brand new curlers, participation in a Learn to Curl is a prerequisite for joining a league, but once you've gone through a Learn to Curl, you're league-ready. Click either of these links to sign up for a Learn to Curl: Friday, September 6 / Sunday, September 8
Once again this Fall, we're returning with the usual league schedule: a Friday night league (8:30 PM) and a Sunday evening league (6 PM), each running from late September through early December.
But what will our leagues look like once we get our dedicated ice?
