Building Fund - March to Sochi, 2014
Site Plan Fundraising Drive
$14,026 of $15,000 (94% of goal)
Latest News:
5/23 - The club officially closed on the property located at 2310 So Hi Drive today. We are land owners! We continue to work out the details regarding financing in preparation to begin construction.
4/15 - Durham City Council approves re-zoning - At their meeting on April 15 the Durham City Council voted unanimously to approve the re-zoning of the property we are purchasing on So Hi Drive. This is a major milestone reached in our goal of opening a dedicated curling facility in the Triangle in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

We are currently in the site planning stage. We are working with a Site Engineer to get our plan approved by the City of Durham. This process will cost between $20,000 and $30,000 dollars.
At this time we are launching our Site Plan Fundraising Drive, with a goal of raising $15,000 (in donations or pledges).
You can contribute via PayPal or by mail:
Mail a check to:
Triangle Curling Club

Donations to the Triangle Curling Club Building Fund are tax deductible, as we are a 501(c3) organization. Anyone donating $100 or more will receive their own Building Fund Angel Pin.
A proper receipt and pin will be mailed to you.
Building our own club is a huge undertaking and we are going to need a lot of hours and your strong financial support to reach our goal of opening the doors in time for the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Thank you to everyone who has worked hard and contributed to get us to this point!
